WHERE NEXT ?

Do you know of any housing issue that should be brought to the attention of the wider public ??

It could be a derelict building that should be demolished to make way for Socially rented homes.

It could be an area of Council Land near you that has been empty for years.

Vacant houses Private or Council that have been empty for years. Houses that sit empty awaiting demolition for major supermarkets that are not wanted.

We invite our readers to suggest a building or piece of land where we should squat next or to comment on our current campaign in anyway.

There’s a group of (ex) Birmingham Uni students who’ve taken over the old BBC Birmingham Club on Pershore Rd round the corner from the old Pebble Mill site. Maybe you could help/advise them? They’re setting it up as a social centre / autonomous space, but expect to be evicted pretty quickly. They want to do free meals for the poor, run an advice shop, do gigs to raise money for various good causes. The place is pretty delapidated though.
